I’ve been making over $100 a day for the last 3 years because I’ve mastered certain things.
You’re probably wondering – How to make $100 a day? How can I do it?

And no, this isn’t an overnight success. You need to put in the hours.
Let’s get straight to the point!

THE START OF MY JOURNEY TO MAKING $100 A DAY

When I was 12, I got interested in video editing.
Why? Well, just like kids nowadays I wanted to be a YouTuber.
No, this is not about video editing, just wait and watch. 

So what did little me do? I did what YOU need to do! I started learning how to do something – in my case video editing.
Unfortunately, I do remember my first edited video. And sadly, I can’t get it out of my head, but oh well – cringing at your past means you’ve grown, right… Right?
It was a Minecraft video. I still had a voice of a child and I remember listening to it and cringing even back then. 

But you got to do what you got to do.  

One by one, I started editing more and more and my skills improved drastically. I watched countless tutorials and courses because I really wanted to improve. 

No, I wasn’t a kid who understood that he needs to improve in order to succeed at life, I was just curiously exploring the possibilities of video editing. I never thought it would become something I do regularly and make a living out of. I was just having fun! 

THE BEGINNING OF MY YOUTUBE JOURNEY

I’ve made my first YouTube channel at the start of 2016, and you guessed it – it was a Minecraft channel!
I was getting more than 20,000 views on each video while having less than 3,000 subscribers. Looking at some channels nowadays, that doesn’t seem too good, but back then it was actually a big deal! Although, even today I think having 7 times more views on each video than subscribers is near to impossible to achieve. 

Because of that YouTube channel, I’ve learned a lot about YouTube Analytics and parameters I need to be looking at in order to make my videos successful. 

After almost 2 years of working on that channel, young me decided enough was enough. I got bored from editing videos and decided to, for some unknown reason, delete the channel of 6,700 subscribers and over a million views. Two years gone of work down the drain only because I was dumb. 

Did I get paid from that channel? Well, not really. Back in that period, YouTube wasn’t paying that much and I used third-party monetization apps that were literally made to steal your money.  

In mid 2018, almost a year after I deleted my channel, my friend asked me to play a game with him – it was Rocket League. The problem was, it was free for 3 days only, and we had no money to buy it.  

And that’s where the story really begins. 

HOW I MADE MY FIRST MONEY ONLINE

Almost two years after I completely stopped video editing, I had to do it again, but this time I wanted to make some money to buy us the game.  

So, I googled ways to make money video editing and one of the recommendations was to try freelancing. I did some more research and found out about a freelancing website called UpWork.  

I ended up making an account there as a soon-to-be 17 year old which was not allowed by UpWork and I DON’T recommend it!
Someway and somehow, I didn’t get banned. 

In the first 3 days I edited as much as I could for free so I can make a good portfolio to show to my potential clients – until that point my portfolio consisted mostly of Minecraft videos which wasn’t enough. I needed some real world videos.
I remember editing non-stop in order to improve my chances of getting a job. 

MY FIRST GIG

And, after only 5 days of making an account, I got the first offer – it was an easy video editing short-term gig for $30. I took it.
Funny thing about that was, in their job post they attached the download link to the video you needed to edit, I downloaded it and edited it, submitted it in my cover letter, and they were kind enough to pay for it and not scam me. 

Those $30 were enough for me to buy my friend and me the game we wanted and that was the first proper money I’ve made online. 

Those $30 meant more to me than you can imagine. It opened my eyes to the possibility of earning money online by doing something that I love and not doing it the old-fashioned way: getting a degree, finding a job, working until retirement; I hated that idea! 

Trust me, the first money you earn online will completely shift your perspective.

Having earned that money, I knew I had to improve even further, so I started watching even more advanced video editing tutorials and after 7 months of doing short-term video editing, I finally got what I was looking for – a long-term deal that paid good amount of money that I didn’t need to work too hard for. 

After everything I’ve done up until that point, I got a job to make meme compilations. Yes, you’ve heard it right – I’m a professional memer! 

Me being me, I accepted it straight away because I like memes. 

BEING MY OWN BOSS

In the meantime, I got a second offer doing the same type of videos, and I was wondering if I can make my own YouTube channel doing this. 

So, I made one – it’s called Troll F1. 

From the knowledge I’ve gathered over the years, I easily grew that channel to thousands of subscribers in a few months and right now that channel earns me about $700 a month.
I still work for the first two channels mentioned, and I earn around $2,000 from them a month. 

You already know where this is going – no, it’s not about Minecraft or any other video game this time – I’ve made another channel but this time about NFL – Troll NFL! 

I found a pattern that works for me, so I’m exploiting it. 

While the NFL season is being played out I’m earning $700-$1,000 from that channel, and around $300 in the offseason. Bear in mind, that channel only has 3,000 subscribers at the time of me writing this. 

So when you do the calculations, I earn about $3,500 a month from those 4 channels which equates to almost $120 a day.

HOW YOU CAN EARN $100 A DAY

It took me about 7 years to start earning $100 a day, but that’s because I started editing when I was just a young kid who didn’t know anything about money and had no goals in life. 

If I were to start everything from zero today, I think it would take me a few months.  

The most important things that I’ve learned over time are: 

• Consistency 

• Determination 

• Curiosity 

• Patience 

• Gaslighting 

• Having fun 

CONSISTENCY

Consistency is key. That’s something you’ll always hear when it comes to learning a new skill. Even if you’re down or having a bad day – try to improve yourself even a tiny bit every day. You really need to keep the rhythm going, otherwise you’ll end up like everyone else – failing. 

DETERMINATION

With consistency usually comes determination. You need to have the sheer will to do something every day because you KNOW it will benefit you in the long run. 

CURIOSITY

Curiosity killed the cat, right? Well it doesn’t really work that way when it comes to making $100 a day. You need to be curious and expand your skills as much as you can because that’ll benefit you 100% in everything, not just in business. 

PATIENCE

Be patient. The results won’t come to you quickly but once they do, they come exponentially. You won’t see the results at first but once you start noticing them they’ll just keep coming to you more and more. 

GASLIGHTING

No, I’m not talking about manipulating other people into thinking something you want. I’m talking about manipulating YOURSELF into thinking about success. Even if earning $100 a day seems impossible now, you need to believe in yourself and keep going forward. Heck, lie to yourself that you’ll succeed! Gaslight yourself into success! Fake it till you make it! 

HAVING FUN 

Let’s just face it, if you’re not having fun doing something, you probably won’t be consistent, determined and curious. Try finding something you actually enjoy doing and see how you can profit from it. 

THE START OF YOUR JOURNEY TO MAKING $100 A DAY

First things first, find something you want to become successful at.
If you’re struggling with that, go with some of your hobbies, think of the ways to monetize them. 

If you’re starting from zero, you need to find good courses and/or tutorials on how to  learn that skill. 

I mainly recommend using YouTube as the source of information – it’s free, and it’s easy to find good tutorials. 

If you want a course, I recommend finding one on Udemy or Coursera – but you usually have to pay for those courses. 

Spend as much time as needed to get to the level where you can actually start doing something people need.
Whether it’s programming or video editing, voice acting, SEO – it doesn’t matter!  

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHETHER YOU’VE REACHED A HIGH ENOUGH LEVEL

It’s actually easy, go to websites like UpWork, look for job posts and see whether you can do the things people need.
You should be able to differentiate between easy-to-do and hard-to-do jobs. If you’re not up to the level of hard-to-do jobs – you need to improve more! 

We are living in an online world where there are countless opportunities to earn plenty of money. If you’ve never earned $100 a day, the easiest way to do so is by working for other people, gaining the experience and knowledge and then channeling everything you know into your own business! 

If you get excellent at something you should be able to earn $100 a day.
Even though it might sound ridiculous to you now, it’s true. 

THE BIGGEST ISSUE PEOPLE FACE

I’ve met lots and lots of people who want to earn a huge amount of money. They all ask me how I make this amount and when I tell them the comment that I usually get is –  ‘you just got lucky’ – that’s actually what my dad tells me every time, but oh well. 

Some people actually tried to learn a new skill, I’ve even helped them find good courses and tutorials but their determination and motivation lasted only for 3 days at best. 

Why? Everyone wants to get rich quick. Nobody has the patience to put in the hours and wait for the progress and the compound effect to do its thing. 

If you start with something, finish it. It’s hard, you’ll get impatient, frustrated, irritated, but once you start seeing the progress you’ll immediately change your mindset for the better. 

SELF-DOUBT AND FAILURE

There’s no way you can fail if you put in the proper hours and your mind into something.
Even if you can’t find someone to work for, you can always, for example, record a course and teach others what you’ve learned. Heck, in some cases you can make a social media account and record yourself doing the things you’ve learned! 

There will always be ways to monetize your skills, sometimes it’s hard to find those ways, but it’s never impossible. 

Failing is never an option, keep that in mind throughout the whole experience from start to finish. Gaslight yourself into success if you feel down. 

Getting rich is a mindset! 

SUMMARY

Let’s summarize your path to $100 a day in a few steps: 

• Find something that interests you or want to learn about 

• Find proper tutorials/courses on how to do that certain thing 

• Study the hell out of it and become the best at that thing 

• Be patient, the results will come to you eventually 

• Find ways to monetize your work, either through freelancing, your own business, content creation, etc. 

• Get that bread 

Give yourself at least a few months to learn something and then try to monetize it.
From my experience, giving yourself 6 months to a year is enough – it still depends on what you’re learning though. 

Believe in yourself, be patient, stay consistent and explore the possibilities of your newly acquired knowledge.  

And most importantly, have fun making money!
